About the role:

The Retail Delivery Lead plays an important role in the delivery of the Retail Markets strategy, through supporting the identification, shaping, planning, and effective delivery of initiatives that are critical to the achievement of strategic goals and KPIs. You will work closely with business stakeholders to build a deep understanding of target business outcomes and help design actionable delivery pathways to achieve them.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business priorities, challenges and opportunities and help identify areas of strategic focus.
  • Lead discovery activities to understand the gap between current and desired states, and shape key initiatives with direct linkage to strategic goals and KPIs.
  • Lead successful execution of initiatives in a highly collaborative, cross-functional delivery model.  
  • Track delivery of the Retail Markets strategy, through the definition and monitoring of success measures that feed into broader business performance reporting.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in the shaping and delivery of business improvement initiatives, preferably within a management consulting, corporate strategy, or business transformation context.
  • In-depth understanding and application of business process improvement methods in both customer-facing and operational environments (e.g. Customer Journey Mapping, Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
  • High degree of commercial acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex information sets and draw connection to customer and business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills with ability to develop trust with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile operating models.
