About the role:

Reporting to the Project Development Manager, the role involves actively engaging with potential local supply chain partners, with a specific focus on ports and logistics, to support the construction, operation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms. This includes building and maintaining a network out of local suppliers and collaborating with international supply chain managers, acknowledging the need for a blend of local and international expertise to successfully execute projects. Collaboration with engineering, project management, and government relations is essential to ensure clear communication of project requirements to all stakeholders. Additionally, the role contributes to procurement and tendering strategies and supports the achievement of local procurement objectives.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Keep up to date professionally about industry best practices and new developments.
  • Establish and nurture robust connections with internal clients, joint venture partners, and supporting functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Formulate port solutions and contribute to the development of the Transport and Installation (T&I) strategy.
  • Offer insights to shape procurement and tendering strategies, facilitating local involvement and ensuring the achievement of optimal project results.
  • Collaborate with port owners, operators, investors, and governmental bodies to establish port solutions that facilitate the construction and ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) of offshore wind farms.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management for a major project, ideally in renewables.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and outgoing personality.
  • High level of knowledge in either port infrastructure development/construction, port operations, offshore construction, or logistics.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline (e.g. civil or marine engineering, logistics, naval architecture).
  • Experience in offshore wind project development or construction is highly desirable.

Join us in shaping the future of offshore wind in Australia by providing your supply chain expertise to lead the engagement with local & International supply chain partners.
