About the role

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy for Alinta Energy’s Merchant Energy business. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, working closely with key stakeholders to identify business needs and develop tailored strategies to attract top-tier talent.

Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will identify talent needs, develop tailored recruitment strategies, and proactively source top talent to meet business objectives.  You will have access to a variety of tools to support your role, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights, enabling you to develop effective hiring strategies and make data-driven decisions.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre candidates.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to address hiring challenges and future workforce planning.
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates and hiring managers across the recruitment journey.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening, shortlisting, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records and optimise the use of our ATS (PageUp).

Your experience:

  • Previous inhouse talent acquisition experience in a similar business partnering position  
  • A track record of developing creative recruitment strategies to attract hard-to-find talent.
  • Experience in the Energy, resourcing or construction industry will be highly regarded
  • Expertise in building and managing talent pools.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing channels, recruitment tools, and talent management practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
