About the role

Alinta Energy is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Customer Technology team. In this role, you'll support developing and maintaining high-performing digital applications, ensuring they align with our architectural standards and DevOps best practices. You'll also support and mentor junior developers, champion continuous improvement, and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack.

What you’ll do 

• Drive the development of scalable, high-quality solutions within an Agile delivery team
• Design and implement secure, high-performance APIs and microservices
• Develop front-end systems that are intuitive, fast and scalable
• Provide technical mentorship to developers, fostering a culture of excellence
• Ensure the reliability and availability of digital platforms, targeting 99.95% uptime

Your experience

• 10+ years’ experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering
• 6+ years’ experience in API development and microservices architecture
• 5+ years’ experience with .NET Core and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• 2+ years’ experience in front-end development and modern frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience working in Agile teams with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

This role is best suited to a proactive full stack developer who has experience working within a complex and deadline driven environment.
