About the role
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust platform solutions that enhance developer productivity, security, and operational excellence.
This is a highly collaborative role which will see you working closely with engineering teams to build and optimise cloud-native platforms, leveraging Azure, C#, DevSecOps practices, and identity management to ensure seamless automation, security, and governance.

What you’ll do
- Build key relationships with cross functional teams including Product Owners, Lead Software Engineer, Digital Services and IT teams
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable platform solutions on Azure to support engineering teams
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and security controls using Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines
- Implement DevSecOps best practices, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring compliance with security policies
- Develop reusable platform components, APIs, and tools to improve the Developer Experience (DevX)
- Define and enforce Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) best practices across cloud environments
Your experience
- Strong experience with Azure services such as AKS, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), Azure AD, and networking
- Proficiency in C#/.NET, with experience in building APIs, SDKs, and infrastructure automation scripts
- Expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, security hardening, RBAC, and identity management
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Experience with observability and monitoring solutions like Application Insights and Log Analytics
