As a Junior Settlements Analyst at Alinta, you will support the accurate capture and reconciliation of Electricity, Gas, Environmental, Treasury, Futures, and OTC trades within our trading systems. Assist in capturing and validating trade details to ensure system accuracy and compliance.
Help record transactions through journals, and receivable and payable invoices.
Support month-end activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
Participate in cross-training initiatives within the Settlements Team to enhance your skills.
Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to facilitate smooth operations.
Your experience:
Recent graduate or studying towards a degree in commerce, economics, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage workload priorities.
Hands-on experience in Excel (advanced) and SQL coding (desirable)
