About the role

We invite expressions of interest for the Project Administrator role in our Construction team at Alinta Energy. This position is pivotal in supporting the proposed Reeves Plains Energy Hub, situated north of Adelaide. This exciting project aims to enhance the region's energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions. Initially based in Adelaide CBD, this role will transition to being site-based once we enter the construction phase.

As a Project Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support, document control, and coordination functions, ensuring project efficiency and compliance. Additionally, you will play a key role in advocating for Alinta within the local community, fostering positive relationships and promoting our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

What you'll do.

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and project-related events, facilitating communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking tasks and milestones for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and other key initiatives.
  • Manage project contracts and permits within Alinta's internal systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and key stakeholders to promote collaboration.
  • Support a culture of Zero Harm by complying with HSE policies and procedures.

Your experience

  • Proven experience in document control, administrative support, or project coordination on infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
