About the role
We invite expressions of interest for the Document Controller role in our Construction team at Alinta Energy, based in Reeves Plains. This role is pivotal in supporting the proposed Reeves Plains Energy Hub, situated north of Adelaide. This exciting project aims to enhance the region's energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions. Initially based in Adelaide CBD, this role will transition to being site-based once we enter the construction phase.
As the Document Controller, you will maintain up-to-date records of all project information, correspondence, and documentation, ensuring they are accurate and accessible. You will act as the custodian of the electronic Document Management System, facilitating efficient project operations and compliance throughout this transformative initiative. Additionally, you will play a key role in advocating for Alinta within the local community, fostering positive relationships and promoting our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

What you'll do.
- Establish and maintain a centralized Document Management System (DMS) for the project.
- Ensure accurate filing, version control, and distribution of project documents, including contracts and reports.
- Collaborate with team members for timely document submission, review, and approval.
- Maintain the integrity of document naming and metadata within the DMS.
- Support a culture of Zero Harm by adhering to HSE policies and procedures.
Your experience
- Experience with electronic document management systems, including Aconex.
- Practical experience in document control systems for engineering and construction projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic project environment.
