About the role
As our Early Careers Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of delivering an exceptional experience for our interns and graduates at Alinta Energy. Supporting the Early Career Programs Manager, you’ll take ownership of coordinating and administering all aspects of our Early Careers programs.
From recruitment and onboarding to program rotations, event coordination, and progress tracking, you’ll keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. What you’ll do
- Coordinate all logistics for early career programs including recruitment, onboarding, rotations, learning sessions, events, travel, and offboarding.
- Maintain program calendars, documentation, participant data, inbox, and calendar with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Act as a key contact for graduates, interns, hiring leaders, and external partners, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Organise and assist in administering events such as assessment centres, networking sessions, and development workshops.
- Track program metrics, prepare reports and presentations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, process invoices and purchase orders, and ensure compliance with governance and policy requirements.
- Travel interstate occasionally throughout the year with our Early Career Program Manager to attend events, power generation sites and our interstate offices.
Your experience
- Extensive coordination experience in Learning & Development or Human Resources.
- Experience supporting Early Careers programs is highly preferred, including event coordination, tracking participant progress, and managing development and rotation plans.
- Demonstrated experience analysing data and data informed decision making.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience in recruitment processes and confident using HR or recruitment systems, with experience in PageUp highly preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
