About the role

Join Alinta Energy as the Sales Performance Manager for Western Australia, a pivotal role within our Retail Commercial team based in Perth. This position focuses on driving sales performance, managing key partnerships, and leading a growing team dedicated to customer retention and acquisition. You will be instrumental in shaping our sales strategies to enhance our market presence and achieve sustainable growth in a competitive landscape.

What you'll do

  • Oversee the sales performance of existing channels while identifying new partnership opportunities to expand market share.
  • Manage and coach the National Customer Growth Team, ensuring effective sales training and performance management.
  • Analyse sales metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions and improve overall team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to align sales strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Actively engage in partner events and industry initiatives to enhance brand presence and foster new connections.

Your experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in channel management within the energy or competitive retail sector.
  • Proven track record in executing sales strategies and driving performance improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience in training and coaching sales teams to achieve set objectives and financial targets.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance reporting
