What you’ll do
- Ensure safety for yourself and your team by adhering to AlintaSafe practices.
- Support the execution of the annual maintenance work plan and participate in capital projects to enhance plant performance.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure high reliability and efficiency.
- Isolate plant and equipment, and issue Permits to Work as per the Maintenance Schedule or plant requirements.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to power station operations, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and supporting project management activities.
Your experience
- Electrical: Cert III or equivalent and Instrumentation: Cert III or equivalent
- CPCPGS4003A Install, commission and service Type B gas appliances or ability to obtain
- “C” Class Drivers Licence
- Computer literacy and skilled in using the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed fault-finding on complex machinery/systems
- Strong problem-solving skills to enable resolution of administrative, operational or maintenance issues
- Experience in a similar power generation role or with gas turbine and industrial rotating equipment is preferred but not essential
