Join our Merchant Energy Accounting team as a Financial Accountant – Trading Portfolio Management (TPM) East, where you’ll manage month-end processes, deliver insightful reporting, and make a real impact by implementing and driving process improvements that enable greater self-service and automation.
In this hands-on role, you’ll also gain exposure to a variety of process improvement initiatives, helping to shape the future of our finance operations, all within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

What you’ll do
- Managing the month-end process for TPM East businesses, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Delivering monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting to a broad audience.
- Designing and implementing improvements to reporting and cash flow forecasting.
- Implementing and driving process improvements to enable self-service and automation.
- Gaining exposure to a range of process improvement initiatives across the finance function.
Your experience
- Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in a similar position (Big4/mid-tier audit background preferred).
- Strong exposure to AIFRS financial reporting and complex group structures.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementation.
- Skilled in reporting to senior stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- (Desirable) Experience with budgeting/forecasting solutions (e.g. Oracle), utilities/commodity sector, database queries (SQL), and financial modelling.
