Australia’s energy system is undergoing the biggest transformation in its history and we’re right there with it. We’re investing in and developing large-scale renewables and storage projects as part of our ongoing effort to provide our customers with reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.

We understand that flexibility matters when considering your next role. Let us know your requirements, and we’ll carefully consider how we might accommodate them.

Ready to make a real impact?

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy Learning & Development Programs Coordinator to support the success of our Future Workforce and Learning & Development function.  In this role, you’ll take ownership of scheduling and coordinating a diverse portfolio of learning and development programs. You’ll ensure smooth delivery, maintain accurate records, and provide responsive support to stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, anticipate needs, and champion the use of technology to enhance systems and processes within L&D. By fostering collaboration and delivering exceptional service, you’ll help achieve measurable impact and contribute to our strategic workforce development goals.

Why you’ll love working here

At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver reliable and sustainable energy for Australia — and that practical approach runs through everything we do. You’ll get clear direction, genuine flexibility, and the support you need to grow, all while working on projects that make a lasting difference. We’re big enough to create impact, but small enough that your ideas and effort will always be seen.

There are plenty of other great benefits of working for Alinta Energy, including flexible working, energy discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a paid volunteer day each year, fully stocked kitchens, and lots more.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the Learning & Development inbox, responding promptly to employee enquiries and support requests
  • Coordinate learning programs and events, including scheduling, logistics, communications, and preparation of materials
  • Maintain and update the L&D SharePoint site, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to date
  • Provide administrative and project support to senior L&D leaders, including preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion technology adoption and process improvements, support program evaluation through feedback and reporting

Your experience

  • Highly organised and proactive, ideally with experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant, or as an early-career professional eager to build a career in People & Culture
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong vendor management skills, including contract administration and purchasing
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills (essential), plus proficiency in Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, with confidence in consulting, negotiating, and influencing, and a passion for using technology to streamline processes
