We are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced and Sales and Marketing team. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will be focused on the operational and sales processes that include - quality and compliance, reporting, data analytics and training. You will also support the implementation of efficient supporting processes and resources that positively impact sales team productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, results and deliver sales operations excellence.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the optimization of channel partner performance through analysis to uncover improvement opportunities designed to boost sales volumes and quality in conjunction with channel managers
  • Engage and support the required resources to develop a communications protocol with our partners that supports our sales, training and compliance obligations and meets all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to the quality and compliance functions across Alinta for sales activities, including auditing and reporting
  • Support the development and implementation of an annual business plan
  • Provide input into robust business cases to support investment in new initiatives
  • Driving a culture of accountability through continuous monitoring and reporting on key initiatives
  • Support the development of sales tools and job aids that support the sales team in the communication of programs, solutions, and services
  • Support sales managers in the operational delivery of strategic initiatives to meet budgeted sales targets

To be successful you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Operations capacity within the energy industry
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting projects for sales process or program implementation from concept to completion
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information to key stakeholders
  • Proven ability in analyzing problems and solid conflict resolution skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work autonomously and as a part of team
  • Excellent time management skills, understanding how to prioritise key tasks and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
