About the role:

Join our fast paced Commercial & Industrial team on a permanent, full-time basis.  Reporting to the Business Sales Manager, the purpose of the role is to ensure customer retention whilst generating new business within the small to medium enterprise sector. Responsibilities will include:

  • Active customer management of a portfolio of accounts (mostly managed by phone and e-mail contact) meeting set targets for customer retention
  • Development and growth of new business through cold calling, warm lead response and face to face
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Personal contribution to performance of a high performing team through skills sharing and peer coaching
  • Sales administration, including: performing administrative tasks associated with sales contract renewal, maintaining the sales data base

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated B2B sales experience and a proven track record of exceeding targets for both retention and new business development
  • Business to Business sales experience in converting cold and warm leads via outbound telephone and face to face
  • Solid contract/price negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working and collaborating in a team environment
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) desirable
  • Organised and effective time management skills
