About the role

Join Alinta Energy and play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Marri Wind Farm, a landmark renewable energy project located approximately 140km north of Perth. Set to harness the region’s significant renewable energy resources, support energy security, regional economic activity, and Western Australia’s broader decarbonisation objectives, this major development will play an important role in the state's energy transition. As Commercial Manager, you'll lead all commercial matters across the project, protecting Alinta Energy's commercial interests, driving governance and reporting frameworks, and providing commercial leadership across a complex multi-contractor delivery environment. This is a rare opportunity to influence a project of significant scale and leave a lasting impact on Australia's energy future.

What you'll do

• Act as the commercial lead for a major renewable energy infrastructure project.
• Protect Alinta Energy's contractual and commercial position across multiple delivery partners and contracts.
• Lead the assessment and management of claims, variations, extension of time requests and other commercial matters.
• Establish governance, reporting frameworks and commercial controls to support successful project delivery.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team while partnering with Project Delivery, Finance, Legal and Executive stakeholders.

Your experience

• 7-10 years’ experience in commercial, contract or project management roles within major infrastructure, construction, energy or resources projects.
• Demonstrated success managing complex contracts and representing a project owner or principal in large-scale project environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience assessing claims, variations, risk and project performance.
• Proven leadership capability, including leading teams and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality commercial correspondence, build trusted relationships and confidently navigate competing priorities.
