What you’ll do

• Leading the enterprise data architecture roadmap, standards, reference architectures and integration patterns
• Building and driving adoption of Alinta Energy’s common enterprise data model, beginning with the customer data model
• Designing practical solutions across Databricks, data lakes, integration, master data management, real-time processing, analytics and AI
• Guiding solutions through architecture governance while aligning cybersecurity, information classification, retention and regulatory requirements
• Partnering with architecture, engineering, analytics and business teams to challenge assumptions, build consensus and translate strategy into deliverable solutions.

As the Data Domain Expert, you will:

• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction across Alinta's data landscape.
• Advise the organisation on the evolution and future readiness of data capabilities, platforms, governance, and practices.
• Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and strategic vendors to shape long-term data outcomes and investment decisions.
• Influence enterprise architecture, analytics, and AI initiatives through deep domain expertise and industry best practice.
• Ensure Alinta's data ecosystem remains scalable, trusted, resilient, and capable of supporting future business and technology needs.

Your experience

• Experience in a senior data, domain, principal or solution architecture role, with the ability to work from enterprise strategy through to detailed solution design
• Hands-on Databricks experience and knowledge of modern data platforms, enterprise data modelling, integration patterns, metadata and data governance
• Experience designing data solutions in complex, regulated environments, with an understanding of risk, security, total cost of ownership and architectural controls
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, influence technical and non-technical stakeholders and constructively challenge established approaches
• Curiosity about emerging technology and experience shaping scalable data foundations for analytics, AI and evolving business capability.

Please note this role requires full working rights within Australia.
