As General Manager – Architecture, Strategy & Vendor Management, you will define Alinta Energy’s enterprise technology roadmap and architectural principles, directly influencing capital investment decisions and long‑term technology direction.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Technology, and as a member of the Technology Leadership Team, you will partner with senior business leaders to shape a shared vision of future capability, while providing strategic oversight of key technology vendors to ensure commercial value, performance and risk are actively managed.

This is a senior leadership role combining enterprise architecture, strategic planning and vendor governance, leading a specialist team and driving integration across Technology, Digital and the wider business.

What you’ll do

• Own the enterprise architecture and 1–3 year target‑state roadmap, guiding strategic investment and transformation.
• Set architectural principles that reduce complexity, duplication and technical debt across the enterprise.
• Provide architectural leadership across cloud, integration, DevOps and core platforms.
• Lead strategic oversight of key technology vendors, including governance, performance and commercial outcomes.
• Drive architectural governance, portfolio planning and investment decision‑making to ensure alignment to target‑state architecture.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing architecture team while partnering with executives as a trusted technology advisor.

Your experience

• Extensive senior experience in enterprise and solution architecture leadership roles.
• Proven success leading architecture functions in complex, transformational environments.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture practices, governance and portfolio management.
• A collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and conceptual design skills.
