This role partners deeply with leaders across Merchant Energy and Corporate Services to lift capability, improve performance and support major business priorities. You will operate as a trusted advisor, diagnosing complex business problems and shaping practical, scalable learning solutions that directly connect to operational and commercial outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Partnering with senior leaders to translate business priorities into capability outcomes
• Diagnosing performance issues and identifying root causes using data and insights
• Designing targeted learning and capability solutions aligned to operational and commercial outcomes
• Advising and influencing stakeholders on the most effective interventions, not just traditional learning
• Supporting major projects and transformation initiatives with capability uplift
• Embedding scalable and modern approaches to learning across the business

Your experience

• Strong experience partnering with senior leaders across operational and corporate environments
• Background in heavy industry such as energy, utilities, mining or construction
• Understanding of operational risk, safety frameworks and safe systems of work
• Ability to influence, challenge and operate as a trusted advisor
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to link capability to business performance
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to diagnose problems and measure impact
