As a Sales Support Officer in our Commercial & Industrial Retail team, you’ll play a critical role in enabling our national sales function to succeed. Acting as the central point of coordination across the sales lifecycle, you’ll support quoting, tenders, customer onboarding and contract administration while working closely with Sales, Account Management and internal support teams.
You’ll manage customer documentation, maintain accurate CRM records, prepare reporting, and ensure sales activity moves smoothly from opportunity through to delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in accuracy, and values building strong working relationships to deliver a seamless customer experience across a diverse commercial portfolio.

What you’ll do
- Manage shared sales and customer email inboxes
- Support end-to-end sales fulfilment, including tenders and quoting
- Process contracts, amendments and customer documentation
- Collate, validate and enter customer data into CRM systems
- Prepare and deliver customer-specific reports
- Manage purchase orders and invoice processing
- Identify and drive process improvements
Your experience
- Demonstrated experience in a sales administration or sales support role
- Strong written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment
- Confident working with multiple internal stakeholders

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys supporting sales activity end‑to‑end, values accuracy and collaboration, and takes pride in delivering a smooth customer experience across commercial accounts.
