Alinta Energy is one of Australia’s biggest energy retailers, generators and developers with over 1.1 million customers. Australia’s energy system is undergoing the biggest transformation in its history and we’re right there with it. We’re investing in and developing large-scale renewables and storage projects as part of our ongoing effort to provide our customers with reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.
We understand that flexibility matters when considering your next role. Let us know your requirements, and we’ll carefully consider how we might accommodate them.
Ready to make a real impact?
As Senior Compliance Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Compliance Advisors, ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality, commercially sound compliance advice across Alinta Energy’s Retail Markets business. You’ll partner with senior leaders to interpret complex regulatory obligations, integrate compliance into business operations and projects, and proactively monitor and respond to regulatory changes. Your expertise will be key in managing complex or high-risk issues, improving compliance frameworks and processes, and supporting the business in identifying and mitigating emerging risks.
You will also represent Retail Compliance in cross-functional forums, contribute to planning and prioritisation of compliance activities, and foster strong relationships across the business and with central risk and compliance stakeholders. Through your leadership, you’ll promote accountability, support capability development, and help Alinta Energy excel in meeting both routine and strategic compliance objectives.
Why you’ll love working here
At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver reliable and sustainable energy for Australia - and that practical approach runs through everything we do. You’ll get clear direction, genuine flexibility, and the support you need to grow, all while working on projects that make a lasting difference. We’re big enough to create impact, but small enough that your ideas and effort will always be seen.
There are plenty of other great benefits of working for Alinta Energy, including flexible working, energy discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a paid volunteer day each year, fully stocked kitchens, and lots more.
