Join our Risk function as Senior Manager, Risk Change & Projects, a 12-month fixed-term opportunity created to provide senior-level capacity across a growing portfolio of risk, integration and transformation activity. 

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you’ll work autonomously across energy risk, enterprise risk, credit and compliance. You’ll take ownership of complex and sometimes ambiguous priorities, identify practical solutions and lead delivery from initial scoping through to implementation. The remit is intentionally broad and will evolve with business priorities, including work arising from Alinta Energy’s integration into the Sembcorp group and other organisation-wide change initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Leading the Risk function’s change, integration and project agenda across energy risk, enterprise risk, credit and compliance 
• Taking end-to-end ownership of complex, function-wide initiatives, structuring ambiguous problems and driving them through to resolution 
• Partnering independently with Executives, General Managers and operational teams to understand issues, build trust and deliver outcomes 
• Driving continuous improvement across risk frameworks, processes, systems and reporting, embedding change for sustained benefit 
• Managing multiple concurrent workstreams, dependencies, milestones, risks and stakeholders while applying sound judgement about when to act and when to escalate. 

Your experience

• Broad, multi-domain risk experience spanning areas such as energy risk, enterprise risk, credit and compliance. 
• Demonstrated success taking ownership of complex or ambiguous issues and driving practical solutions with minimal supervision. 
• Proven ability to engage, influence and build trust with Executives, General Managers and operational stakeholders. 
• Strong project, change and integration delivery capability, including managing multiple concurrent workstreams to deadlines. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement and comfort working in a fluid environment without defined structures. 
• A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, law, engineering or another relevant discipline. 
• Experience in energy or another complex, highly regulated industry, corporate integration, post-acquisition change, consulting or transformation will be highly regarded.

This role is best suited to an adaptable, commercially minded risk professional who can move across technical and enterprise-wide matters, close loops independently and provide trusted senior-level support wherever priorities emerge.
