This is a hands-on leadership role at our Braemar Power Station where you’ll play a key part in keeping the plant running safely, reliably and efficiently. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you’ll lead a small, experienced team and bring structure to maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring work is delivered effectively and with a strong safety focus. You’ll also be part of the site’s on-call rotation, supporting operational responses when needed.

What you'll do
- Lead and support a team of Operations & Maintenance Technicians, providing day-to-day supervision and coaching
- Plan and coordinate weekly maintenance activities and smaller outages to optimise plant performance
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements and responding to incidents as needed
- Troubleshoot plant issues, support reporting and drive reliability and availability outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reporting, and input into maintenance planning and budgets
Your experience
- Trade-qualified (electrical or mechanical) with experience in power generation or a similar heavy industry
- Proven experience in a supervisory, leading hand or team leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of plant operations, maintenance and planning/scheduling practices
- Experience working with permit systems and maintenance or asset management systems
- Collaborative, safety-focused and approachable, with the ability to build trust and lead effectively on site
